DASTA congratulates "Thale Noi Area" for Skål International Sustainable Tourism Awards 2024's second position
DASTA congratulates "Thale Noi Area" of Phatthalung Province, Thailand, for achieving the second position in the Land and Marine Biodiversity category under the Skål International Sustainable Tourism Awards 2024 hosted by the Skål International, which is the world's largest travel and tourism association with international networks of tourism professionals, promoting international sustainable tourism and strengthen partnerships to connect all sectors of the global tourism industry.
DASTA’s entry ‘Thale Noi: The freshwater Lake in Thailand, Home of Global Biodiversity' is submitted under the Land and Marine Biodiversity category and is ranked as the runner-up or
the second position out of the total of nine entries submitted under the same category. With this placement, the Skål International has granted a Certificate of Appreciation along with comments and suggestions from the independent judges, which will be incorporated into the future development of the communities by DASTA.
