DASTA Loei attended "Wan Lai Phi Ta Khon" event at Dan Sai District, Loei Province
At 17.00 hrs on 13 July 2024, Mr. Thumanoon Parktoop, Director of DASTA Loei attended "Wan Lai Phi Ta Khon" event at Wat Pho Si (Temple), Ban Na Wiang Yai Village, Dan Sai District, Loei Province.
Mr. Paektoop, along with over 1,000 Phi Ta Khons (ghost masks) wearers, joined the locals and tourists in the Phi Ta Khon parade, moving from Dan Sai School to Wat Pho Si.
This Wat Pho Si's event was called "Wan Lai Phi Ta Khon" which was the last event of the Phi Ta Khon Festival of 2024. It emphasized the fun and joy of dancing Phi Ta Khon wearers and the togetherness of local Phi Ta Khon groups. It also hosted friendly compitition for the best Phi Ta Khon group through the showcase of the vibrant beauty and uniqueness of each Phi Ta Khon groups' masks, dresses, and parade. Such lively event enticed a large group of both domestic and international touirsts to visit.
