DASTA joined forces to promote the creative citites network between Thailand's Nan Old City and South Korea's Daegu City and Jinju City, by exchanging knowledge and best practices, and participating in "Creative City International Academic Forum”.

      


          DASTA team led by Gp. Capt. Athikun Kongmee, Director-General of DASTA, along with the representatives of the Nan  creative city executive team, headed by Mr. Theva Panyaboon, Deputy Governor of Nan Province, jointly participated in the exchange of knowledge and best practices activity on internationl creative citities network between 12 - 14 June 2024 in two of South Korea's creative cities; Daegu City -  City of Music, and Jinju City - City of Crafts and Folk Art.

          The Thai team participated in the meeting to discuss the cooperation between UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) in Daegu City, and the Creative City International Academic Forum on the topic of “Future Education for Culture and Creativity” at Jinju City Hall.

          This activity aimed to promote collaborations, exchanges of knowledge and best practices, and connections between international creative citites, which are ones of the key steps that DASTA takes to drive forwards Nan city development and to prepare  for its application as a member of UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2025.
