On 25 March 2023, the Office of DASTA Songkhla Lagoon attented the World 1st Krajood Weaver Day Festival as co-host at Thale Noi Floating Market, Phanang Tung Sub-district, Kuan Khanun District, Phatthalung Province. The Governer of Phatthalung Province attended and opend the event as the chairperson.

This event was the result of successful integrated collaboration between local govermemnt organizations and agencies, at provincial, district, and sub-district levels, and Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (Public Organization) or DASTA, whose newly annouched Songkhla Logoon Designated Area for Sustainable Tourism also included some area of Phatthalung Province. 

Krajood (Grey Sedge) is a local plant specie in Songkhla Lagoon areas, including the areas of Thale Noi and Phanang Thung Subdistrict Municipalities. Krajood Weaving is the cultural heritage that utilizes local natural resources to create useful and beautiful objects, stemming from local communites' local wisdom and way of life that pass down from generations to generations. Nowadys, Krajood-woven products is known as the signature of Phatthalung Province, which generate sustainable income for local communities for a lonng time.
